Four, Spidey the musical is collaboration between U2 singers, Bono, the Edge, and everyone's all time favorite web slinging super hero. These are two huge groups all lining up to see their "idols" at work.
Five, there are no other exciting Broadway show of this magnitude coming out, so this is it. Of course, the fact also remains that whenever a new show is introduced, the media and theater going public do all they can to find out more about the show, and as they say, any kind of news is good marketing.

Even if problems happen during the show, the audience is likely to be very tolerant and forgiving. This is their hero after all, right before their eyes.
