Jaeshin got wounded badly while trying to buy some time for Yoon Hee and Sun Joon to escape. In Soo personally escorted the soldiers to search Sungkyunkwan for the red messenger. Sun Joon offered to get arrested and was put in jail. I personally think this sacrifice that Sun Joon made is part of his repentance for what his father did to his friend's fathers.
While Jaeshin is about to make things right to free SunJoon, he was stopped by his father's guards and locked in their house. Yongha in turn told InSoo that he will be charged by the student body for abuse of power but InSoo has something up in his sleeves to blackmail Yongha, to reveal in the council that he is not of noble background but on a merchant's son. Yongha confessed in the hearing, and I love it that he finally got his major moment and it's fantastic! =)
Yongha and Yoon Hee came to rescue Jaeshin and on their way to visit Sun Joon, Jaeshin gave his final letting go.
