Everyone found out that Sun Joon is not the real messenger and the King ordered to have him released. Yoon Hee handed the geumdungjisa to the King and it's now the King's turn to do his part. While everyone was celebrationg Sun Joon's release, Yoon Hee was talking to Sun Joon's father, where he was thanking Yoon Hee for helping his son get out of prison.
The Jalgeum quartet had their own celebration in their room. After a drunk night, they fell asleep all together in the same room with Sun Joon holding Jaeshin's hand, LOL! XD The next day, the news of Yoon Hee being a girl reached the King while Sun Joon and Yoon Hee are preparing for him to meet her mother. Yoon Hee was taken to face the King for hiding that she's a girl all this time. The 3 boys run to her rescue but to no avail. Sun Joon even went on his knees to beg his father to help Yoon Hee.
Minister Lee in his last resort to give in to his son asked his faction to agree with the King but only turned down by everyone. Chosun came to stop the meeting and rescued by InSoo. Yongha was able to buy some time using his wits on the scholars. And Sun Joon went to talk directly to the King. I guess everyone's effort worked because the King chose to save Yoon Hee.
I have the same sentiments as most that the series was closed abruptly. It's the last episode and they have so many things to cover to make everything neat and clean. But I'm still happy, all ended well and that's what I wanted. =)
