[Variety] Birth of a Family - Episode 5

Infinite's dogs Coco, Nurung and Tofu are establishing hierarchy in the house so they keep on fighting.  The boys would come home to a house full of mess done by the dogs.  They adopted them when they were just babies but now they're growing, they need training.

The doctor and Hwijae came to check on the dogs.  I learned a lot of things from listening to the doctor, it's really interesting.  He taught the boys to give more attention to the dog that's often bullied, walk them outside more to become more sociable, put them on leash and teach them to follow commands, etc.  The boys are doing a good job training the dogs as well.  They listened to the doctor and are doing their best to raise the dogs well. =)

Hwijae and Boom also visited A Pink's dorm to check on Dal and Quick.  They set up cctv cameras and watch how the dogs are when they're left in the house.  They found out that Dal is actually the active one and Quick just waits in front of the door for the girls to come back.

[Variety] Birth of a Family - Episode 4

Infinite and A Pink together with their dogs came out for a picnic. A Pink's Dal got car sick and Quick is showing improvements on her separation anxiety. They teach the dogs basic tricks like hand, down, stay, sit, and jump.

Sungjong got to spend more time with their dogs so he became closer to them. He's really good at teaching them tricks. =) They also built dog houses for their dogs.

[Variety] Birth of a Family - Episode 3

A Pink named their dog Quick and Dal. The two cute dogs are opposites, Quick is very friendly but suffers from separation anxiety, while Dal is timid and always hides in the corner. The girls are trying their best to take care of both and be closer to the puppies. =)

At infinite's dorm, all 3 puppies, Jolie, Bbung Bbung and Yokick are chewing on anything they can get their teeth on. Poor Sungjong has to clean the poop because he's the maknae. =S But because the names are difficult to remember, they thought of new names for the dogs, Tofu, Nurungji and Coco.

[Variety] Birth of a Family - Episode 2

Hosts: Lee Hwi Jae, Boom, Shin Bong Sun

The PD covered Boom's eyes and made him wear protective gear and dragged to a place to meet their "new family" and he had to guess what it is. It's a miniature horse. ^^ Even Kim Byeongman, Noh Wujin and Lee Hwijae were subjected to the same test. =)

Next segment is the continuation from the previous week's audition to find families for the abandoned dogs. 2 idol groups were chosen, they're A Pink and Infinite. ^^ Boom went to A Pinks dorm while the girls are still sleeping and only the leader is awake to let Boom in.

Bongsun on the other hand went to the boys' dorm, I think it's their new dorm because it's not the same one from Sesame Player. =) Too bad her ambush is a fail because the boys are not there so she just went through the boys' stuffs while waiting for them to come back.

[Variety] Birth of a Family - Episode 1

Hosts: Lee Hwi Jae, Boom, Shin Bong Sun

It's a new variety show about taking care of stray dogs. The opening story is so touching, just like what they say, dogs love unconditionally.~ The staffs fetched the hosts from their house and on their way to the shelter threw some trivia. I'm surprised that there were 89,000 dogs abandoned in Korea in 2009 alone. And after 10 days and nobody claimed the stray dogs, they're "put to sleep", does that mean they mercy kill the dogs? =(

They also invited idols to volunteer in walking and playing with the dogs in the shelter. We see 4Minute's Hyuna and Sohyun enjoying the company of the dogs. They also tell viewers the story of how the dogs were found.

The staff posted photos of the dogs in the KBS building to promote their adoption. They are holding auditions to those who would be willing to adopt a dog to see if they will fit to be their new family. We get to see singers like Secret, Infinite, SNSD, FT Island, Maybee, Kan Miyeon checking out the dog pictures. Some even went to the audition like Sistar, Infinite, Mblaq, Secret, A Pink, and lots of gagmen.
