2NE1 - The Party! ^^

Finally done uploading my fancams which took me forever. =S

2NE1 arrived here in the Philippines last June 3rd for a show at Araneta Coliseum on June 4th. I was there with a group of my friends seated at VIP (thanks to my wonderful friend!!!) and enjoyed the night. 2NE1's performance was short but sweet and it's so nice to hear Dara (Sandy, as we fondly call her here in the Philippines) speak Filipino the whole time. We all missed her "krung krung" (what we call a 4D) personality and way of talking. ^^ The concert started with 5 local artists performing until it's time for the girls to come out and the crowd went wild!!! =D

Their first song is "Fire"

They went straight to "Go Away" next

Dara and Bom left the stage for CL & Minzy's "Please Don't Go"

Girls are back with "Lonely"

CL, Bom and Minzy left the stage for Dara's solo "In or Out"

They're all back again with "Can't Nobody"

The girls thanked the fans and left the stage. Everybody stays put waiting for them to come back on stage, and they did with "Clap Your Hands"

And finally the song "I Don't Care" which even our non-Kpop fan friends know. ^^

The girls thanked the fans again and bid goodbye. Nobody left their seats shouting for an encore, but I guess that's it. We left with a happy heart and hoping to see them again in the future. ^_^

YG Family Concert 2010

I've finally found time to make this post, I know it's long overdue. =S I went to Korea last December 3, 2010 to catch the YG Family Concert 2010 on December 4th. ^_^ Me and my friend were seated in VIP center while our other friends were seated in VIP left side closer to the stage. =)

I want to share the fancams I was able to take before the ushers start to become strict and approach each person that holds a camera in their hands. I wasn't able to record everything because my camera has limited memory and I was saving up the space for the whole YG Family performance and encore but sadly, that's when they started to get strict and I got none. =S

The concert opened with 2NE1 - "Fire"

2nd song from 2NE1 - "Go Away" - I love it because they performed closer to the audience in the center of the mosh pit. ^^

2NE1's 3rd song is "I Don't Care"

Next Came Se7en with "Better Together"

Se7en's 2nd song is "I'm Going Crazy" and the 3rd song is "Passion".

Next is Gummy who also performed 3 songs (sorry I'm not familiar with the song titles). Each artist/s got to perform 3 songs in the first half.

Big Bang came next and the stadium went wild. Most fans are from Big Bang I think, lots of yellow light. =)

Big Bang - "Gara Gara Go"

Big Bang 2nd song - "Last Farewell" (I love that they sang 2 of my favorite Big Bang songs consecutively!^^)

Big Bang's 3rd song is "Hands Up" that got every body hyped up, I was raising my hands up so no fancam for that, lol! =P

Then came PSY where the whole stadium stood up, jumping and all pumped up! I was amazed at this man's power on stage, I can't see one person not dancing to his songs in there. ^^

Now comes the special stages, Daesung with a solo and a finale of open shirt to our eyes content, lol! Seungri with a comedic stage with the highlight being able to copy YG in front of everyone. Top and GD for a 1TYM number. I'm not sure when this 2NE1 performance came out but I'm sure it's around this time, 2NE1 with "Try to Follow Me" and "Clap Your Hands".

And my favorite performance of the night, Big Bang and 2NE1 for "Lollipop"!!! You'll know it's my favorite by watching the video, LOL! The one screaming in the vid is my friend, keke... XD

Gummy and Bom for "You and I", I regret that I didn't get a fancam for this, it's a really good stage. ~

Next is 2NE1's - "It Hurts"

Se7en for another 3 songs the final with Top for "Digital Bounce", then came another special stage that I was sorry I didn't get on cam - Se7en, Gummy, Taeyang and Dara singing. Next is GD and CL for "The Leaders", Top and GD for "Knock Out", Minzy's solo, CL, Bom and Dara for a Swi.T number, more Big Bang and it's the encore. ~

It was a great experience, not the best concert because there were some technical problems, mic problems, etc. but I'm sure everybody enjoyed it just the same. ^_^ Spread the YG love~

IU with Two of My Favorite Boys ^^

IU sure is one lucky girl and one that has good taste too! ^^ She previously confessed that she's a big fan of Taeyang and he even invited her to his concert to do a special duet. IU did a duet with Yoo Seung Ho called "Believe in Love". It's a very nice song and Yoo Seung Ho has a nice singing voice too! =) Now she admitted to wanting to be in a scandal with Yoo Ah In, and in last Golden Disk Awards, Yoo Ah In told IU that he loves her too. Of the 3 boys, I think I'm shipping IU-Taeyang, kkk... =P

Yesterday, the cute and talented IU released her new album “REAL” along with the MV for ‘Good Day’. Before this release, she was caught up in gossip when she appeared on KBS 2TV’s talk show, “Hello” and confessed her ideal man as Yoo Ah In from Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Well, this confession recently came up as a topic of discussion during the 25th Golden Disk Awards.

Park Min Young and Yoo Ah In were both award presenters for the show and during one portion of the show Park Min Young stated, “I recently heard some fun gossip… I don’t know if she’s here or not but I heard that IU chose Yoo Ah In as her ideal type.” The camera then put their focus on IU who was somewhat embarrassed and put down her head. Yoo Ah In then responded with, “IU… I love you… I love you too” which caused the audience to cheer and make IU herself blush.

credits: allkpop

Singer IU was hilariously teased as Yoo Seung Ho’s stalker on a recent episode of SBS TV’s “Heroes.”

In order to secure a bigger income for the opening of the show’s charity restaurant, the “Heroes” members set out to call close celebrity friends and invite them for the restaurant’s opening.

IU, who previously sang a duet song with Yoo Seung Ho, offered to call him personally, exciting the older cast members as they were also fans of the actor. Unfortunately, Yoo Seung Ho didn’t pick up IU’s call, causing the rest of the cast members to be disappointed. Shin Bong Sun and Narsha teased, “You know, we could ‘call’ Won Bin and Jang Dong Gun that way too.”

MC Lee Hwi Jae pushed IU further by asking, “IU, are you by chance Yoo Seung Ho’s stalker? Maybe only you know his number.

Fortunately, IU didn’t give up and persistently called his cell until Yoo Seung Ho picked up. The members were unable to contain their excitement and began flooding him with questions and compliments.

The episode will broadcast on December 12th at 6:40 PM.

JYJ - The Beginning Album

With the album selling more than 500,000 copies in pre-orders, I can't wait for it to be released worldwide and get the official sales figures. =) I've been listening to the album non-stop and I just fall for the songs more and more.

I am surprised the first time I listened to the album, it doesn't sound like TVXQ or any Kpop at that. So this really is a world album, so this is what's "The Beginning" means, it's the start of something totally new. It's not the usual genre that TVXQ used to sing at all. I was caught off guard but I eventually appreciated the songs as I listen to them more. And now, I just can't stop listening to them anymore! I'm totally addicted!!! ^^

The Beginning - Track List

1. Intro ( Composed by Brian Kim, BJD)

2. Ayyy Girl_Feat. Kanye West / M. Yusef (Composed by Kanye West, K. Hamler, P. Phenom, M. Yusef, Jae Chong / Lyrics by K. Hamler, P. Phenom, M. Yusef)
- This sounds totally western with a rap and intro at the start. Then came the boys' voices, nice! Catchy song and they didn't sound Engrish except of Yoochun in a part where he sounds like he's in pain, LOL! XD I still love you Chunnie so no worries! Keke... ^^

3. Empty (Composed by Rodney Jerkins / Lyrics by Kyoko Hamler, L. Daniels, T. Parker)
- Now SM are you listening?! =P It's a good fast beat song, something you can dance to in any club.

4. Be My Girl (Composed by Rodney Jerkins / Lyrics by Kyoko Hamler, L. Daniels, T. Parker)
- My favorite group song from the album! I love the smooth sound of the song together with JYJ's voices. Is it R&B? I don't know how to differentiate the song genres anymore, LOL! =P

5. Still in Love (Composed by Hero Jae-joong / Lyrics by Kyoko Hamler)
- Jae's solo and it sounds so Jaejoong. A ballad for that angelic voice he has. =)

6. I Can Soar (Composed by Xiah Jun-su / Lyrics by Kyoko Hamler)
- Yes, it's Junsu to talk about reaching it higher. He just pushes himself more and more and he just accomplished something again this time, putting his Engrish to a minimal. ^^

7. I Love You_Feat. Flowsik (Composed by Micky Yu-cheon / Lyrics by Kyoko Hamler)
- This is another favorite of mine from the album! I totally fall in love with this song the time I listened to it. And yes, it's so Yoochun, smooth and dripping with cheese, lol! XD I'm surprised that Chunnie actually used a higher pitched voice, much higher than he usually to sings with. Love it! ^_^

8. Be The One (Composed by Jae Chong / Lyrics by Jae Chong, Terry Shorter, Kyoko Hamler)
- Another dance song. It's my least favorite among the other dance songs though. But still, not bad.

9. Ayyy Girl_ S. Tiger Remix
10. Empty_DJ EON Remix
11. Be My Girl_DJ EON Remix

Not a big fan of the remixes so I won't be saying anything about them. Empty Remix is pretty good but I still like the original. So there, I can't wait to get my hands on my very own copy of the album! Please oh please, I wish that the Philippines will still be included in the world tour, I'm keeping the faith! ^^

Jay Park in Manila Fanmeet

It's a bit late because I've been out of the country for a vacation. It took me quite some time to upload my fancams. Thanks to my good friend, I was able to attend the fanmeet in VIP section so it's pretty good. =)

The fanmeet lasted around 2 hours and every body had a blast. It's an enjoyable event and I'm glad I was able to witness it. ^^ I have to apologize in advance for my fancams are a bit shakey, we're all standing and I have to raise my hand above my head to capture Jay above all the fans in front. My arms got tired along the way and I have to change holding the cam from one hand to another. =S

First song that Jay sang while coming out is "Nothing on You"/ "Count on Me".

Jay sang a duet with his friend and some other friends of his also performed while he went back stage for a quick change.

Jay Park - Demon

Jay Park and AOM - Dance Medley - I specially enjoyed the "Madonna" and Miss A parody, LOL! =P

They had a question and answer with Jay, then a quiz game with AOM and a B-Boy dance battle with a local B-Boy group.

Jay's cover of "You Got It Bad" where he ripped off his shirt and the fangirls scream like there's no tomorrow! LOL! XD

2NE1's True Image

A nice article specially to 2NE1 fans out there. The girls tell us their true image behind the fierce and the strong image on stage. =)

2NE1 has made an impressive comeback with the release of their first official album, “To Anyone.” Staying true to their unique and powerful energy, they’ve revealed a variety of concepts through their music videos, making sure to differentiate themselves from the other girl groups on the market.

However, in an interview with OSEN on September 15th, 2NE1 showed a different side to their standard image. Despite being confident, they were also humble, and despite being outgoing, they were serious as well. They shyly laughed while commenting, “Meeting us in person, we’re less scary than you thought, right?

2NE1 revealed that they made a deeper contribution to the album production, working alongside staff members and making sure they got their opinions heard. Additionally, the choreography had every move examined by the members themselves before anything was finalized.

CL revealed, “Honestly, our music producers are already so amazing that we just trust and follow their lead. However, they do try and reflect our opinions as much as possible when they’re making music. Outfits are decided by all of us as well. What we participated the most in with this release is the choreography though. All of us worked with foreign dance instructors to create the choreography, especially for ‘Can’t Nobody’ and ‘Go Away.’ We spent a lot of time on it and made sure to pick moves that we could enjoy performing on stage.”

What actually didn’t reflect the members’ opinions was the CD album jacket. CL stated, “The jacket is what presents our music. I want to someday be able to design it ourselves.”

Recently, one PD commented, “Girl groups are all the same, but I can tell apart 2NE1 instantly.” 2NE1 laughed when the statement was delivered, with CL expressing, “We agree that we’ve differentiated ourselves. Our image and everything is quite different (laughter). I want to think of it as a compliment. We’re different, but not wrong.”

2NE1 also monitors various message boards after they perform. Despite some hateful replies, they claim that they’re not too upset by it. CL stated, “Even I admit that I have some weird pictures out there (laughter). But that’s the real side of me, so I don’t take it to heart.” Minzy added, “Actually, I’m more upset by having no replies as opposed to hateful replies. I’d rather just think of everything positively.”

The members went on to talk about their senior group, Big Bang, and how they were shy when they first debuted. Big Bang didn’t have a lot of experience conversing with other artists outside of YG Entertainment and felt unfamiliar with journalists and broadcast halls. 2NE1, however, revealed that the were even more shy.

CL stated, “Even now, it’s still very awkward. I was standing in the corner of our waiting room during our comeback. What we really can’t do are variety programs. We decided to just stick to music because it was so difficult.”

Dara added, “We have a tendency to look kind of foolish when we’re not on stage. I’ve also heard that we’re a bit immature.”

When asked whether they ever wanted to show a girlier, weaker image of themselves like other girl groups, Dara answered, “We did try. Others said it looked too powerful though (laughter).” CL added, “We want to try girly things, we will do girly things, and I believe we’ve already done girly things. It was probably done in our interpretations though. Just because we sing a girly melody or lyric doesn’t mean we’ll lose our own unique color. We’d just like for everyone to talk about our skills instead.”

2NE1 is also attempting a triple track promotion cycle with “Can’t Nobody,” “Go Away,” and “Let’s Clap.” Instead of being caught up in the pressure of it all, 2NE1 expressed that they just hypnotize themselves with thoughts of enjoying the performance.

Dara stated, “We were extremely nervous at first. After we finished recording our first song, I immediately thought that we weren’t up to par yet. We have to enjoy the music we’re singing in order to properly deliver it. After that, I just let go of my sanity and enjoyed it. I couldn’t help but burst into laughter when I monitored the performance afterward.”

Leader CL gave credit to her lively company atmosphere by stating, “Teddy genuinely cares for us and truly enjoys making our music. Preparing our outfits is hard as well, and it must be so tiring to have to make 3x the standard amount of stage outfits, but the stylists are always working with a smile. Even with our choreography, other seniors were in the middle of promoting, but they still took the time to check up on ours, so it was very fun working with everyone. We have great teamwork.

With 2NE1 already sweeping the charts, they revealed their goal is for the public to enjoy their music, outfits, and style, and to start a new trend. CL concluded with, “I hope that all of our songs are delivered properly on stage. What’s more important than winning is having everyone truly enjoy our performances. I think it’d be a great honor to be able to influence someone’s joy.”

2NE1 Comeback Stage!!!

Yes! The girls are so back!!! They performed their 3 title songs in Inkigayo today and it's undeniably the most awaited performance of the show. Love the stage concepts, love the energy and love to see the girls enjoying the stage. That's what you call a comeback! ^^

Clap Your Hands

This song's MV is my favorite of the 3 they released which made me like the song more. It's also the stage that I like best in today's performance.

Go Away

I so like the performance better than the MV! The performance is fun, fun, fun! It's like saying, "Let's Party!" =D The back dancers worked out so well with this performance, it became more alive and complete. I'm torn if I like this performance better or "Clap Your Hands" because I sure love this one! ^^

Can't Nobody

I know I said this is going to be their biggest song of the 3 because it's the one that sounds most like 2NE1 and it's a work of Teddy. But somehow, it's falling short of my expectations. I sure like the MV of this song more than "Go Away" though. I would want to watch the stage performance better because I think the choreography on this one is better than the other 2, I just need to see it better because the camera man in Inki made me kinda dizzy.

But overall, it's a bomb! I can't wait to see them perform again next week. =)

Let's Clap for 2NE1!

2NE1 - Clap Your Hands MV

credits: 2NE1@youtube

If the MV doesn't excite you, I don't know what will. It's fierce, it's awesome, it's 2NE1!!! I have to admit that Clap Your Hands is not my favorite song in the album but watching that MV just made me like the song more. It's a seriously amazing MV!!!

I'm excited to see 2NE1 perform their title songs because they're all fierce. Even if my favorite songs in the album are the slower songs (I admit, that's because I'm old and I love ballads... =P), it's all good. It's nice to listen to the album because it's like a box of chocolates, full of surprises, you just don't know what you'll get next. ^^

"To Anyone" Track list:

1. Can't Nobody - I know they said that it's going to be a 3 title song album but I think this is going to be their main song. It's a dance song that is kinda trademark of Teddy, but adding the "Let's rock, just take it to the top, ain't never gonna stop, now all I wanna do is make you rock..." gave it more recall. It reminds me of a cheer dance beat. ^^

2. Go Away - the upgraded "I Don't Care" song that shoos away men, lol! XD I'm not a big fan of autotune so it's generic to my ears, but the beat is nice.

3. Clap Your Hands - the MV won it for me. ^^ Another thing that I love about this song aside from it being quite addicting is that Dara's voice improved here and had that added fierce that was lacking before. =)

4. I'm Busy - I find "Nan Ba Pa" title pretty cute. As for the song, another autotune so yeah...

5. It Hurts (Slow) - this is my personal favorite!!! I love the reggae and jazzy feel of the song. And we get to hear the girls' voices here more. Love it!!! =)

6. Love is Ouch - another song that i really like. It's a dance song but a little bit slower than the others which I find relaxing to the ear. Love their voices here... ^^

7. You and I - Bom's solo song

8. Please Don't Go - CL and Minji's song

9. Kiss - Dara's song featuring CL

10. Try to Follow Me - their previous digital single

11. I Don't Care (Reggae remix) - love this version!

12. Can't Nobody (English version)

FT Island in Manila

This is an overdue post. FT Island was here in Manila last March, 2010 and I was able to watch the showcase. I just thought I'd share some fancams that I'd finally able to upload. =)

Hongki was not in his best but he still worked hard and sang live in all the songs. They even gave in to more songs requested by the fans. They are really nice and sweet. ^_^

2NE1 Will Release Full Album in September!!!

The long wait is finally coming to an end, 2NE1 is releasing their 1st full length album in September 9th! ^^ The MV is coming out on the same day as the album. And another surprise is the girls will debuting in America and Japan soon too! Hope they will stay healthy. Eat lots girls! Fighting! =)

It’s been a long time coming but they’re here now–well, almost. YG Entertainment’s butt kicking girl group 2NE1 is set to make their comeback next month in September with their first full length album To Anyone!

Big daddy YG (aka Yang Hyun Suk) surprised fans with a big slap in the face as he put up a post on the YG Entertainment homepage titled ‘Message from YG’. It’s quite a long passage but to sum it up, 2NE1 will be returning on September 9th with a 12 track album titled To Anyone. Six of the tracks will be brand new with four being their past digital singles and an additional two bonus tracks.

3 of the tracks will be title tracks and the MV for them all will be out at midnight on September 9th together with the album. There will be no teasers at all.

It’s also been reported that the girls traveled to LA and London to work with Black Eyed Peas leader Will.I.Am in order to create the music on their album. Apparently he was given the chance to see one of their videos and almost immediately decided that he wanted to help produce their work.

In addition, plans for them to debut in America are undecided as yet but they will expand into Japan early next year. Also, 2NE1TV Season 2 will be shown in September instead.

Lots of more exciting stuff is bound to be headed our way so be sure to stay tuned!

Narsha's "I'm In Love"

credits: LOVEISBEG@youtube

This is my current favorite song and I just want to share it! ^_^

I love kpop with all it's bubblegum pop songs, but when I stumble on something like this song, I remember the songs that made me really love music. I'm a love song freak and songs with melodies like this are my ultimate first love. ~ It's nice to go back to my old self once in a while... the days before all the kpop craze got me. =)

Another favorite song of mine these days, One Way's "Forever".

Shinee Hot Comeback in Music Bank!

credits: UnknownCarrot150@youtube

I've been looking forward to Shinee's comeback since the day the teaser photos came out. And I'll have to say, I'm very satisfied with this hot hot hot comeback of Shinee babies (that are now seems to have grown up already =S).

So glad the stylist kept Onew's hair up and not parted like in the mv. When did Minho got those arms? It's so much bigger than I remembered. Jonghyun's arms got those great cuts now, really becoming a man now eh? Key's hair is something only a diva can carry and he carried it perfectly! ^^ Taemin's still a boy and I'm just so glad. =)

Yoo Seung Ho and IU Record a Duet

I'm really excited when I read this news! I would love to hear Yoo Seung Ho sing with his deep voice, matched with IU's sweet voice, I think it will be a very nice song. =)

It was revealed on the 22nd that actor Yoo Seung Ho and singer IU had recorded a duet together recently.

Yoo Seung Ho (17) and IU (17) had recently participated in the recording of KBS1TV’s popular charity show, Love Request where they visited the slums of India and Sri Lanka and witnessed at first hand the terrible living conditions of the locals.

After returning to Seoul, Yoo Seung Ho felt sad that he couldn’t do more and decided to record a song for a charity album and also take part in a photo exhibit. All proceeds will subsequently be delivered to the countries in need.

The duet was written by G.Gorilla with reference to the diary that Seung Ho wrote while overseas. Fans can look forward to listening to the song through the 600th episode of Love Request on July 24th and a MV of the two recording the song will also be released shortly afterwards.
