[Variety] Radio Star w/ Secret and Sistar

Secret debuted earlier than Sistar but they are often pitted against each other.  Both groups are considered 2 of the rising rookies in the girl group realm of Kpop today. =)

I like Secret for their down to earth personalities, they're not trying to be sweet or shy but are actually happy to be laughing about themselves.  As the hosts mentioned, only Bora and Hyorin are the known members of Sistar.  Hyorin for her very good singing voice and Bora for her athletic abilities.

Sunhwa almost got scammed by a person claiming to be an entertainment company.  Jieun auditioned for JYP by doing popping.  Hyorin suggested Bora's hairstyle to have no bangs to make people differentiate them because they're often mistaken as twins.  With so many idols saying they wanted to date, I'm sure lots of them are actually dating. =P

[Variety] WGM - Leeteuk & Sora - Ep16

The girls showed their aegyo and Sena even kissed Eunhyuk on the hand multiple times showing how much she likes him.  And it's time to write down their choice and get paired up.  The couples each took a car and drive to their next destination.

Donghae is extremely shy that he can't even start a conversion. =S  I like the maknae couple, they're so cute and funny. ^^  Soyool and Sena seem to really like their partners.  They played bowling and the winner gets a kiss.  It's their first meeting and these couples are kissing each other already, lol!  Even Leeteuk haven't received a kiss from his wife Sora yet. =P

I think the couples formed are already perfect, but Eunhyuk just have to make it "fun" since it's a variety show so in the final choosing time, he had to choose somebody other than his partner.  I honestly understand, and I think it's fun too at first but he should know when to stop.  A joke taken too far is seriously not funny anymore.  He already saw the girl almost tear up when she got rejected the first time, so why reject her again?! 

Yes, Eunhyuk, you're a funny jerk, but a jerk nonetheless. =S  And to Leeteuk who even challenged the people on twitter who criticized Eunhyuk to blame him instead.  Yes Leeteuk, you should be the one blamed, you're a leader and you should've known better. I'm really disappointed, more on Leeteuk than Eunhyuk, and more because of his tweets than the show.  And I used to say that Leeteuk is going to be the next national MC because I like him that much and I really see potential in him.  Well, I'm taking it back. =(

I would've been happier if Donghae and Sena rejected those two, they both are too good for the people they chose.  But I guess it's true that man always want what's bad for them, lol! XD

[Variety] WGM - Leeteuk & Sora - Ep15

The promised blind date is finally here! =)  It's so cute to see Fighting Junior so nervous for their blind date. ^^  Leetuek is turning 30 this year, so that's why he has to serve his military duties already.  They agreed to give a sign by touching their sideburns if they like the girl that appears.

First girl is Son Eun Seo, she's really pretty and Donghae seems to really like her, and Eunhyuk too.  2nd girl is Lee Sena, 3rd is Shin Soyool, and 4th is Jung Yun Joo.  Eunhyuk likes all the girls, LOL! XD  They made introductions the girls first.  Eunseo appears coy which is usually the type that men likes.  Sena is 30 yrs old but she looks so young!  Soyool hosted a music show before so she's familiar with Super Junior, she's very outgoing and doesn't appear shy at all.  Yunjoo is only 22 yrs old and is still a student.

Fighting Junior showed their skills.  Sungmin sang and played the guitar, Eunhyuk danced, Kyuhyun sang and performed magic and Donghae prepared a self-composed song and gave out flowers to the girls.

The teokbokki is done! It's Sora's very first dish and she cooked it for her husband. ^^ While eating, they thought of role playing again. Leeteuk will be a TV show host and Sora will be a Korean-American who fell in love with teokbokki. Sora is a really good actress, she can do a character in a snap. =)

After eating, they gave each other a massage and watched a clip of the very first day they met.

[Variety] Strong Heart - Episode 106

Guests: Song Dae Kwan, Lee Bon, Wonder Girls' Sunye, Yubin, YeEun, Sohee, and Lim, Hwang Hye Young, Kim Jung Nam, Byun Gisu, Kim Won Hyo, Jang Jae In, Sa Hee.

Continuing from the previous week, they open with Boom/Teuk Academy and showed funny pictures of the guests. Sohee talked about a time when she woke up with bloated face and went straight to the gym. Unexpectedly, a hallyu star recognized her and came over and talked to her. She was so embarrassed that she just wants him to go away. It just so happens that the hallyu star is Lee Seunggi. =P

Lee Bon as a first generation idol talked about why she left singing 7 years ago at the peak of her career. She felt tired and empty even if she's so popular, that she just walked away from it all and disappeared. It's the love her fans that brought her back. Turbo's Kim Jung Nam went through a slump as well after he lost his popularity. He stayed in his room for more than a year, became a game addict, and got sick. He got rehabilitated and now is back in the music scene.

I think the idols today probably feels the same way too at one time and I hope they'll learn from the stories of their seniors. The love of their fans is what keeps an artist alive, and artists who realize this show more love to their fans as well. The more they appreciate their fans, the more love they receive from them. =)

Wonder Girls also shared stories from their activities in the US, like the time when Ye Eun fell on stage and Sohee just kept on dancing, they even showed a fancam of the event and it's so funny, LOL! XD Sunye talked about a difficult time in her life during trainee days that she even thought of committing suicide. Good thing the meds she took didn't cause her any harm. Hyelim performed a bit of "Act Cool" live.

[Variety] Strong Heart - Episode 105

It's one of Wonder Girls' variety show guesting on their comeback after more than a year of working in the US. They revealed that their dating ban has finally been lifted and everyone is free to date now. ^^

This is where Sunye admitted that she's currently dating somebody. =) I think it's a first for an idol to personally admit to dating without a scandal. The reactions of everyone in the studio is so funny specially Seunggi who instantly gave her the Strong Heart trophy and announced her the winner, LOL! XD It's something good so she wants to share the happy story to the people she loves and loves her and that includes her fans. I think it's sweet of her to value her fans that much to be so honest about it. ^_^

Lim talked about how she's always mistaken to be Chinese instead of Korean because she lived in Hong Kong for a long time. Ye Eun shared a story about her fight with JYP over a song she doesn't like. I admire her for standing up for her music and also admire JYP for accepting her opinion, unlike SNSD's Taeyeon who previously admitted to having no choice but to sing songs that she didn't really like.

Hwang Hye Young's love story is truly a story of destiny. She married a politician which she only dated for about a year. Both their families knew a monk that her father-in-law said helped cure him before. The monk gave him honey that made his immune system stronger. Her father happened to have given a bottle of honey with blue cover to that same monk, and his father-in-law said that he's the one that ate that honey. It's destiny! A love story written even before they met. And what's best is he's also a good man. When she told him that it's burdensome for her to be a politician's wife, he told her that she doesn't need to change the life she has just because she married him. *awww*

[Variety] WGM - Christmas Special Part 2

The couples' friends shared secrets of the husband/wife that seem to cause trouble instead of helping them get closer together, LOL! XD Wonjun's friend is Bae Kisung, Leetuek's friend is Sungmin, Eunjung's friends are Jiyeon and Soyeon.

Next game is "Couple Talk". They are to answer questions regarding their partner in an anonymous manner to reveal how they really feel. Next is the "Telepathy Couple Game" where the husband has to distinguish his wife's hand blindfolded. Next is strength game, the husband that breaks the most number of tiles wins. Next is feeding jajjangmyeon, the blindfolded wife will feed her husband, the first to finish wins.

And finally, it's the 2011 WGM Awards. Different categories were given out like, best jealous moment, best sound effects, most loving couple, best crying award, best couple.

[Variety] WGM - Christmas Special Part 1

All 3 couples were invited to the studio for the Christmas Special. They most memorable moment of each couple were shown. First is Woojung couple's peppero kiss. To make it more exciting, all the couples in the studio played the game.

Wonjun tried multiple times to kiss Sohyun but was not successful, thanks to Jangwoo, this time, Wonjun was able to successfully popo his wife. ^^ Next is the lie detector from Sowon couple. Again, the other couples were asked questions with the lie detector.

Each prepared a performance for their partners. Teuk sang and played the piano, Jangwoo sang and played the guitar, Wonjun sang and played the ukelele. Sohyun danced to Wonder Girls' "Be My Baby", Eunjung prepared a sexy dance, and Sora danced to SNSD's "Oh".

On the day of the concert, Sora specially prepared a lunch box for her husband and also individual lunch boxes for the members. She even prepared a personally designed standee of Leeteuk and brought it to the concert location.

Fighting Junior all successfully accomplished their missions before Teuk's solo stage. Teuk played the saxophone, next is the piano piece he previously played for Sora but failed, and finally sang the song "She" and went to pick Sora from the audience, gave her a rose and a ring! ^^

After the concert, Sora in turn showed Teuk the Super Junior dance medley she prepared with Fighting Junior. And she also showed Teuk the lunch box she personally made for him. =)

[Variety] Radio Star w/ SNSD

Guests are musical singers Park Haemi, SNSD's Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany, and Im Taekyung. I first saw Im Taekyung in Immortal Song and he really is good singer. And I like it that Park Haemi battle it out with the hosts who seem to like teasing her a lot. ^^

SNSD answered issues and some rumors that came out in the news. First is Taeyeon spacing out during an interview in America. There's also the Jessica and Taecyeon dating rumors. They also asked about the time Taeyeon got dragged by a crazy fan who went up the stage while SNSD was performing. This one I haven't heard of, that Taeyeon and Tiffany fight during their Japan concert.

The girls' dream is so simple, just to have a happy family. Like saying they just want to get married and raise their kids. Just then the only married woman on the show butt in with, "but that's the hardest thing to get", LOL! XD Reality bites. =P

During Super Junior's rehearsal, Leeteuk (I wonder if he brought that standee to the venue himself? LOL!) is shown talking to Sora's standee. =P Unknown to him, Sora also came but went to see his members, whom they called the "Fighting Junior" first to ask for a favor. ^^

While Teuk is busy rehearsing for his solo and event for his wife, Sora is telling Fighting Junior the tasks she want them to do for her like wipe her husband's sweat, give him a back hug, put on lip balm, etc. But everyone got excited with hitting him when staff change his clothes, LOL! XD These boys are all so funny! ^^

Sora expressed her request for Leeteuk to perform another mission since he didn't do their "V" sign mission well. This time, to do a "batman" or "double V" in an official event. They next played a game where Sora lost and Teuk gets a wish. He asked Sora to close her eyes, cleaned up and grabbed her hand and they walked away hand in hand. ^^

Leeteuk came back from a concert in New York, and as a present he showed her a video he recorded himself that proves how much he missed her while they're not together. He asked fellow SM artists to leave messages for Sora, there's Ryeowook, Donghae, Yunho, Shinee, Yoona, Tiffany, etc.

[Variety] Come To Play w/ Heechul and the Chocoballs

I'm not sure when was this originally aired but it's fun and entertaining so I thought I'd share it here. ^^

Heechul and his gang, they're called the "Chocoballs". According to Heechul, the name means, they're a bit psycho's when you first meet them, but become more attractive the more you get to know them. =) They're common denominator is being narcissistic, they love themselves too much, LOL! XD

I love that this group is so diverse, everyone's from a different group, company, age, but they all blend so well together. ^^ Sangchu got in because he has lots of celebrity connections, he made Lee Da Hae come to Hongki's birthday party which made Heechul invite him into the group at once, LOL! XD

On the 2nd segment, Jessica Gomez came as a treat to the boys. They played a match making game with her. At the end, she got to pick the boy she liked best.

The couple is composing a song together. They decided on the song title to be "Lunch Time". ^^ Leeteuk wanted Sora to play the piano with him in their concert, I guess it was not approved so he ended up proposing to her with a ring instead, which I think is so much sweeter. =)

They visited Teuk's teacher and he showed Sora Teuk's graduation picture and school records. He's a really good student. They also visited the class Leeteuk used to be in, and Sora even prepared break and milk for the students. Leeteuk looks so happy and can't stop praising his wife. ^^

Sora planned a date course for them this time, they meet in a "park date", next is the "bus date". Teukie really loves to look at Sora as if memorizing her face. Sora brought her husband to his old high school. They ate at a food stall just outside the school before going in. She prepared an event which is playing the piano for him, as it turned out, she's really good. =)

[Variety] Immortal Song 2 - Episode 15

Challengers: Hyorin, G.O., Jiyoon, Kyuhyun, Jaebeom, Huh Gak.

It's sadly the last episode for 5 of the singers and only Huh Gak will come back next episode.

1st - Huh Gak with "If I Had A Lover". He made the song into a fun and cherry version with melody that's easy to follow.

2nd - Hyorin with "A Kind Heart". She performed the song with strong vocals and very sexy choreography.

3rd - G.O. with "Aching Heart". He sang it full of emotion, like he's really in pain. Seungho even came to cheer on G.O., supportive leader. =)

4th - Jaebeom with "Please Don't Change". He made the song into smooth hip hop version with impressive dance moves. I really like the chorus, cute! ^^

5th - Kyuhyun with "With My Love". He's doing a dance version of the song. We get to see "Dance-Kyu" doing a Michael Jackson. ^^

6th - Jiyoon with "Once More". She wrote her own rap into the song which talks about a guy who cheated on her before.

After the drama filming, Sora has to go to Busan for the Busan Film Festival. Leeteuk offered to bring her to the airport in his car. Since Teuk is jealous of her partner in the drama, he asked Sora about him and even told her of their almost fight when they talked about her, lol! =P

They both agreed to do a mission, to make a "V" sign, Sora in the red carpet and Teuk on Music Core. At the airport, Teuk gave Sora his Super Junior jacket and while walking even held on to the sleeves as if wanting to hold his wife's hands. ^^

In the airplane, the husband again surprised his wife by boarding the same flight! He also gave her a pretty bracelet. Teuk sure prepared a lot for his wife, from morning until night, he continues to think about her. =)

[Variety] Immortal Song 2 - Episode 14

Challengers: Hyorin, G.O., Jiyoon, Kyuhyun, Jaebeom, Huh Gak.

The Rival Match this episode is pretty interesting, it's "Dance vs. Ballad". =) Hyorin, Jaebeom, and Jiyoon chose dance, while G.O., Kyuhyun, and Huh Gak chose ballad. They're also given the choice to pick their own songs that they think they will do well in.

1st round - Hyorin vs. G.O.

Hyorin chose "My Name" by Boa. She's a really good stage performer, the song has dance from start to finish which she did really well, plus she's also singing live the whole time.

G.O. chose "Back To You Again" which he sang with full emotion. I'm not familiar with the song but I can clearly see that G.O. poured out so much feelings in singing the song. Really great!

2nd round - Jaebeom vs. Huh Gak

Jaebeom chose "Look Back At Me". I think he really put everything he does best in this performance. He sang R&B style to control his vocals, but danced full force in the dance break and even adding b-boy which he does best at the end. ^^

Huh Gak chose "You Are The One For Me" to showcase his vocal range. He has a very pretty voice that fits ballad so well. This round's voting depends on personal preference because I think both did very well.

3rd round - Jiyoon vs. Kyuhyun

Jiyoon chose "Coming Of Age" which is a very popular song back in the day. She's not one with very strong vocals but she gave her best in this performance.

Kyuhyun chose "A Study Of Memory" with her sister in violin. He performed the song with an orchestra accompaniment that blends well with his voice. The ballad singers really belt it out to compete with all the dance the dance team did.

Leeteuk visits his wife in her filming set to surprise her and give her support. =) He's worried that he might disrupt the filming so he called Krystal and Shindong who both have experience filming to ask for advice.

Upon arrival, he bought tonic drinks to be given to the staffs and even put their couple sticker on it one by one. Leeteuk is jealous of the male actor that Sora is filming with that he came forth and introduced himself as her husband. The two men look like they're going to hit each other any moment, LOL! XD
