But because of the rain, they didn't see the sun rise. But still, it's their first overnight together to start their newly wed life together. ^^

Seulong & IU Won Mutizen

2AM's Seulong and IU's duet song "Nagging" won Mutizen in Inkigayo last weekend. I find the song cute and refreshing that's why I'm glad that they won. =) It's talented IU's very first time to win in a music show since her debut and you can see the surprise in her face. Congratulations! ^^

Super Junior 4th Album Repackaged

Super Junior released a repackaged version of their 4th album with Kangin participating in it before he finally enlists to the army. We'll sure miss him. =(

Korean idols Super Junior will release their repackaged fourth album today, according to their agency SM Entertainment.

A press release from SM on Friday had announced that the repackaged album will go on sale today featuring four new tracks that have been available online, as well as 11 songs from the original record.

New songs include the follow-up single "No Other", a more powerful remix of "Shake it Up" and tracks "All My Heart" and "A Short Journey" which were written by the members of the boy band.

"No Other", written by leader Lee Teuk and Super Junior subgroup Super Junior-M member Henry, is a ballad with an acoustic guitar background that expresses the warmth of the song.

Meanwhile, "A Short Journey" written by Eunhyuk, composed by Donghae also featuring Kang-in has a fresh melody and simple yet repetitive chorus. "Journey" will be released as a digital single with proceeds from the sales to be donated to help the less fortunate.

Super Junior composed also of members Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum and Kyuhyun made their debut in 2005 with their first full-length album "SuperJunior05 (TWINS)".

The boys are known as the most popular K-pop acts in the country and throughout Asia with hit albums "Don't Don" and "Sorry Sorry" and they held two sold-out concert tours in 2008 and 2009 titled "The 1st Asia tour - Super Show" and "Super Show 2".

They have been promoting their latest song "BONAMANA" as a ten-man band as members Kang-in, Kibum and Hangeng have decided to take a break from group activities.

"BONAMANA" has topped numerous online and offline music charts since its release on May 13.

Super Junior gave their final performance of "BONAMANA" on the special edition episode featuring the most popular singers from the first half of the year on KBS' televised music show "Music Bank" over the weekend.

Kim Hyun Joong Leaves DSP

So the meeting with Bae Yong Jun is about the contract after all. This is really sad for all SS501 fans. =( We all know that Kpop groups don't last forever. They will all eventually go their separate ways, doing solo activities. But for the time being, we, the fans are in denial and would always wish for them to stay together for the rest of their careers. Let's all hope that Kim Hyun Joong's decision is for the best and continue to love and support him. ~

In a statement by Bae Yong Joon’s entertainment company Boundaries of Forest* on June 29th, it was announced that SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong has signed an exclusive contract with them. The company said that they will work with Hyun Joong to develop his singing and acting skills. They also stated that they will spare no support to him so that he may take advantage of the various opportunities available to him as a Korean celebrity on the cusp of the next wave of Hallyu super stardom.

We reported back in April that Kim Hyun Joong and Bae Yong Joon were spotted having a midnight meeting and speculations were that Bae Yong Joon was scouting Hyun Joong for a part in a drama he was producing. After reports of the meeting circulated, both sides claimed that it was just a friendly meeting. Less than a week later, reports that Kim Hyun Joong as well as the rest of S501’s contracts with DSP Media were to expire on June 7th became common knowledge through news reports. Nothing more was heard over the issue until last week when SS501 fans were unsettled over emotional appearances by SS501 at fan meets and were surprised by DSP Media’s sudden announcement on the 20th that all activities for “Love Ya” were done and that contract negotiations were still not settled. Ah, sometimes rumors and speculations are true, or at least half true.

There was no mention of what will become of SS501 in the reports. One would think that if this new company was interested in the whole group they would have signed them all at one time, but you never know. This doesn’t necessarily mean the end of SS501, other groups in the past like Shinhwa were able to operate with members under different management companies. It does however, make the coordination of activities harder and it always usually was the beginning of the end for the groups.

Many have said that while DSP Media seemed pretty lenient with their stars like SS501, they never really helped them to reach their full potential. I became a fan of Hyun Joong during his We Got Married days and after learning of his background, hard working ways, and discovering of SS501 became an even bigger fan. I’m just hoping that this decision will be what’s best for Hyun Joong and that this company will really help him to develop his skills. I also hope that there’s a chance for SS501 to stay around.

Stars other than Bae Yong Joon that are managed by Boundaries of Forest (BOF for short, I wonder if that was a sign?) are Park Ye Jin, Lee Na Young, Choi Kang Hee, Lee Bo Young, Bong Tae Gyu, Lee Ji Ah, So Yi Hyun, and Hong Soo Hyun.

*Boundaries of Forest is the talent management branch of Keyeast Co., Ltd. which was listed in some reports as the company that KHJ would be moving to.

Athena: Goddess of War

I'm looking forward to this drama! With the promotional pictures out, it just gets more exciting. They all look badass and I sure hope the drama is a hard core too. ^^

Here we go, first promotional character stills of the cast of Athena. You won’t find the concept that novel if you’re familiar with the look of IRIS’s promotional shots, but it IS interesting to finally get a peek into the spinoff’s world. I actually think IRIS’s promos were better-looking, but for some reason I’m more interested in Athena than I was about IRIS.

First up is Jung Woo-sung, above, who plays a top agent with the National Anti-Terror Service. (IRIS was set amongst the National Security Service, or NSS, while Athena moves to the NTS.) Can I just say that I love that he’s wearing a fancy suit and bowtie like he’s freaking James Bond? I have a feeling Athena’s story may be more out-there than its predecessor, but since it’s hardly realistic either way, I say bring on the antics.

Lee Jung-gil will reprise his role from IRIS as the president Jo Myung-ho, indicating that this series will place a little more focus on the Blue House (Korea’s White House) than the previous series did. (The newly cast Lee Bo-young plays his daughter.)

The drama is a week into production; filming began on June 19. Overseas location shoots will begin in July.

Below, Su Ae (Sunny, Bottom of the 9th Inning with 2 Outs) sheds her innocent image to go sexy as an NTS agent:

Cha Seung-won (City Hall) is looking mighty fierce as a spy:

Choi Siwon (Oh My Lady) starts out as a newbie data analyst and looks up to his sunbae Jung Woo-sung, but he’ll get his turn in the spy limelight later in the series:

And Lee Jia (Beethoven Virus) rounds out the group of agents. I think (hope) the tough image works much better with her personality than the “girly” one; she was much, much more interesting as tomboyish Sujini in Legend than she was as a shrill fashion assistant in Style.

MC Yoo is Going to be a "Running Man"

Korea's National MC Yoo Jae Suk is finally coming back on sunday TV! I'm so happy and excited because I'm sure most of variety show fans missed him. With Family Outing 2 in the brink of cancellation, MC Yoo's new show "Running Man" comes along. But the PD's are still trying to save Family Outing 2 by giving it the same time slot as Running Man for the time being. I just hope they will finalize the schedules soon because I sure would want to see Yoo Jae Suk every week and not just every other week. =)

National MC Yoo Jae Suk is ready to return to his variety show duties by starting his very own, Running Man.

The preview was aired earlier today on the 27th and will air alongside Family Outing 2 every Sunday at 5:20PM KST.

Fixed members on the show include Lee Kwang Soo, Song Joong Ki, Gary, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Gook and Haha. The show also plans to invite guests for every episode, and the first will star Lee Hyori and Hwang Jung Eum.

Eun Ji Won Wedding Pictures

As many of us already know, Eun Ji Won got married last April 21st in Hawaii. It's a special place for the couple because it's where they met and had been together before. Only 1 picture surfaced after the wedding but more were released via My Wedding magazine.

I think Shin Jung Hwan and Kim Taehyeon would make this a really funny show. Glad they both made it in the show. =)

The group is challenging 1500km trip around South Korea. A 4 days 3 nights trip that will test their endurance and let the viewers see the beauty of Korea's coastline. =) After taking a quiz game for their pocket money, they're off to Abai Village but in a very cramped mini van. For their first meal, they were divided into soondae soup team and fish team.

Next stop is Jongseon. On the way, Hodong played around with Jiwon, Seunggi and Mong, squishing both by sitting at the back seats. ^^ "A trip is always fun, when you go with friends", that's just so true! =) For lunch, they're playing a game where they will pedal a bicycle in train tracks. The beach for their base camp. ^^

2NE1 in L.A.

I so love Dara's new hair style! =) I wonder what the girls are doing in the US? Can't wait for their comeback! ^^

The ladies of 2NE1 have been attracting some attention lately even before their highly anticipated comeback later this summer. It has been confirmed that the members are currently in the US after having already visited there recently in addition to England and Japan.?

Speculation on the group' whereabouts first started after one of the members, Park Bom, posted up a picture of herself on a bed with a caption, "Guess where I am". Member Sandara Park left two to three days later than the rest of the group due to her filming an appearance on Big Bang's Taeyang's music video off of his first regular solo album.

2NE1's agency, YG Entertainment, is refusing to give any details. They simply said that the girls are preparing for their comeback and that they're somewhere between New York City on the east coast and Los Angeles on the west coast.

The girls of 2NE1 took the kpop world by storm last year, dominating musical charts and music sales. They even had successful solo projects. They have remained pretty inactive for the first half of this year, having spent the time traveling abroad. They also made a special guest appearance at Big Bang's concert in Japan.

Many people have been speculating whether the group will be following in the footsteps of another popular girl group, Wonder Girls, in attempting to break into the US market. The reasons cited were that considering how popular they are, the group has chosen to not participate in commercials, concerts, events, or broadcasting shows to spend their time off the active music scene. Some are asking whether there's any other reason for allowing the girls to simply take full-time off like that and sending them abroad so often?

YG has spoken out on these speculations saying that the girls aren't ready yet to tackle the US market. They added that the most important thing for a singer is their contents. The members of what's arguably Korea's most popular girl group are simply taken plenty of time to thoroughly prepare worthy content for their music.

Whether the girls are indeed just preparing for their comeback in Korea or a breakout venture in the US, nobody knows for sure as of yet. However, one thing is for sure, many are looking forward to the girls' comeback, period.

They invited DJ Koo to paint a mural of G7 in Yoochiri. The others went on to check up on their garlic planted before, then went on to dig pig potatoes.

While the girls in the house continue to help with the mural, the others who went digging potatoes played a stone stacking game.

The mural turned out really well! So cute! ^^
